HDR Architects, designers of the new Tahoe Tower for Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada were so confident of the benefits of The Sky Factory's Luminous SkyCeilings that they specified them for installation over 190 patient beds.
Marie Wikoff, RID, ASID, of HMC Architects said, "The client and I are so impressed with not only the overall appearance of the fixtures, but also the documented case studies of improved patient well-being related to the SkyCeilings. We've added them to the design of the now under construction 30 patient bed Oncology Unit in the existing hospital. Renown is currently in the process of re-opening its 28 bed Postpartum Unit where we also designed for every room to have its own SkyCeiling. This has become a trademark for Renown."
